You know mirrors were originally meant for light.
Back in those dark and dreary days they put mirrors on the walls to reflect that already existing light from sun and candles.
Then humans caught glimpses at their reflections. And kept looking.
As time went on, they became fixated on their image.
Corruption and shallow tendencies grew.
And now humanity has its soul...
